  • I know its not the same as volcanic ash, not by a long shot, but whats the story with the ash/smoke/embers, and the jet engines?

  • I L ike the woman who says SHIIIIT! I'd be thinking the same thing,Thats awesome.

  • Nice Vid -thanks for sharing.

  • That is some gutsy flying. Low level flying in a plane of that size would be hard enough, but to then being buffeted by the rising smoke and heat from a fire... One word - WOW!!

@FireMonty - Yes, he is. Not in the same way as some of us though, but he is still fighting fires...

@eveningniteshade - A plane flying at ~400km/h is NOT going to fly 5-10 foot above the water 'scooping' water... Soon as the scoop hit the water the plane would nose dive into the water.

  • @FireMonty he is.

  • Boringggg

  • it lands at Avalon taxis up to a water bladder full of water or the other stuff and then is pumped into the bottom of the aircraft, taking all of 20 minutes!

  • how does it pick up water?

If it has a scoop it could scoop up sorklers and dolphins and stuff.

  • Anyone know when the tanker is going to do another test run and dump?

  • That was for real
