Thank you Music Man for this most beautiful and memorable video of Oliver.
Although badly neglected when he was first rescued, he was still very beautiful inside and out. In this video you see some photos of him, looking absolutely perfect. He looked this way shortly before his death. He received so much love and care, he knew the end was finally coming and he wanted everyone to see his true beauty. Somehow he managed to show us that beauty. We'll remember him ALWAYS. Toni
Oliver was pulled from a backyard on Oct. 4 '07. 30+/- yrs old, a victim of long-term starvation. He overcame the illnesses that complicated his recovery; he gained strength & weight; his strong character emerged. He was spoiled & loved. What Oliver wanted, Oliver got. He ruled the barn for nearly a year. On Aug. 21 '08, Oliver left us, surrounded by those who loved him. He finished his life with dignity & respect. Thank You Lisa & Steven for this tribute ~Helping Hearts Equine Rescue
I remember the day you brought him to your farm, and what intensive and loving care you gave him and the chance you gave him. Donna Minelli
