@50slife -Johnny Burnette and the Rock and Roll trio are probably the greatest Rockabilly band ever. They only released one album, (which is one of the most desirable albums for collectors. ) Rockabilly Boogie, Tear it Up, Lonesome Train, Honey Hush, All By Myself, I can go on and on..These guys were the band playing around Memphis, which a young Elvis wanted to join, before he recorded for Sun. The guitarist Paul Burlison also worked at Crown Electric with Elvis.

I love this version of this song, but Johnny Burnette DID NOT write this song! It was written by Tiny Bradshaw and recorded by his jazz band in 1951, 5 years earlier.

Correction. Tiny Bradshaw CO-WROTE it with Howard Kay and Lois Mann.

Motörhead's version is much more better than this...

It's Jonny Burnette's song... he wrote it. This was one of the first tries at rock and roll ever in history, cut him some slack these guys pathed the way.
