This is from the USWA circa 97. Mike Samples was discovered by Hollywood as the next big action star. He cuts a promo on Jerry Lawler making light of the fact the King wore a mask for his part in Life With Mikey. Footage of Life With Mikey is shown. After the footage, the Road Dog Jesse James confronts Mike Samples.
He did jobs in the WWF in the early 90s. Good stuff here and above average promo for a territory guy

I remember this vividly too! It was the first movie I saw that wasn't rated G. It actually had a bad word in it! Even though I was an avid wrestling fan, I don't remember Jarrett or Lawler in it. So, well played indeed Mike Samples.
The whole thing REEKS of wishing Andy Kaufman was still around. Funny how the movie Life With Mikey came out in 1993 but this looks like it came out in 1986...

I remember this vividly. Mike Samples did a great job with this gimmick. Particularly because it was absolutely ridiculous to believe he was a movie star. Made it all the more fun.
