On the idyllic island of Lipari near Sicily a few traditional swordfish hunters are still active. The days are over where these fisherman were self-evidently succeeded by their sons. Lipari pays homage to an almost extinct profession.

Hmmm its called fishing, and yes for them its businnes but in many plases on earth fishing is the most common food. And not mention about places that are outdoor... In some cases its the only food resouce. I hope you just understand that. But i agree its horrific to watch.

i don`t know man... to much people , a big bout what need a lot of fuel, for a bad ass fish ... it doesen`t deserv the efort ... about the movie : - first 4 minute was very boring

The horrific thing is that the fish can't make any noise, so it lay dying in silence until they hacked off its head, while it was probably still alive.
