Preparations to distribute family kits

Relief kits are distributed to the families in Swat and Kohistan that have lost everything in the floods. These kits contain hygiene material like soap, toothpaste or towel, cooking equipment and other useful items like a broom or tarpaulin.

Malteser International is providing medical relief, distributes food and relief items and works to provide clean drinking water. It is active in Swat, Kohistan and Punjab. In the long term it will get involved not only in rehabilitation but also in disaster preparedness measures.
