@pgaloom. you're an idiot. Shawn makes logical sense in his presentation and explanaton. You, like most golf instructors who feel an unconscious need to make golf out to be non-intuitive or not able to be grasped by 'laymen,' just want to discount Shawn for trying to do so. I'll bet anything that if you take two golfers at the same level of play and put one with each of you for a week, Shawn's student would certainly outperform yours.

@clemshaw in your second swing, your shoulders are more open at impact, otherwise the ball would go too far right.

@clemshaw yes...they are in the same position as at address. so in essence, your "push" is just the swing following your shoulders. It makes zero difference where the placement of the ball is, or the alignment of the feet. As long as the clubface is parallel or square with the arc in reference with the shoulders, and the arc does not shift forward or backward during the swing, the ball will follow that path. i thought your were ment to play your driver at the front of your foot to increase club speed and power

Q#1: Play the ball lower and #2 I would only open the face a tad if I was hitting the fade; here it was square to the arc line in both situations;
Thanks for the questions! Shawn
Hi Shawn, how do you create the power on the downswing to get more club-head speed. I'm currently at 103MPH and I would like to improve that. I've been told that it depends on where on the downswing you unload the power or arms to create a more powerful swing. Many thanks, love all your videos.

Stance means nothing...your shoulders are aimed right-center. Your swing follows your shoulders. second shot your shoulders were aimed down the right side...

@pgaloom Not at all! Because the club is centred on the arc and the ball is forward; it gives you the illusion that the shoulders are closed when all they are in already turning in the backswing; Your mind is simply stuck in static mode where mine is already in motion at address... see where they are aimed at impact and then make your observation; Shawn

Great Instruction Shawn, I will have to go back to the range again ... I believe you're on the 10th hole at RichmondHill golf course, right? (I played there, really nice course). If you don't mind, please take a look at my crappy swing and let me know what's wrong? appreciate it.
