Here are some clips from two afternoons of filming with the new exclusive Valo TV2's.
So about two weeks ago now, I recieved a pair of BLUE Valo TV2s from SHOP-TASK. The first thing I noticed is that they are an awesome looking skate. Now I will get into the specs on the TV2.
Liner: Had a huge upgrade from previous Valos I have ridin in the past and were really comfortable from the start.
Skin: A ruff texture around the toe and side of the skate, with the normal leather on the rest of it. I beat skates up pretty easily and this leather is extremely durable.
Wheels: For stock Valo wheels I cannot complain. Nice for park, they wear down evenly, but fast. I will be putting some Eulogy wheels on them soon.
Frames: I was worried about riding the stock frames, but I gave it a chance. It is one of the nicer frames I have skated, once you make a nice groove in the H-block.. Sidewalls are also really fast.
Souls: I thought at first the soulplates were a bit low and fat on the skate(not close enough to your foot). Once I got used to it again, it made tricks a lot easier and I love them now; very responsive.
Modifications: I got a size 10, but next time I may get a 9 and cut the toes. I found the area around the top of my foot to be a bit loose. Therefore, I double laced the skate. Meaning on the inside of the shell I put laces through the plastic part and still rock the laces you can see on the top of the skate. Now my foot feels really secure in there.
Final thoughts on the skate: Valo is clearly a strong leader in the industry for a reason. The TV2 is affordable and a really good skate for what you are paying. I highly recommend it and rate it a 9/10 , just as a stock set up. Enough rambling from me, cop dem skates bra!
