im a christian but i also have a few athiest friends and i dont try and push religion on them b/c if they want God in there life they will accept him :) i talk to to them like any other person b/c there no different and i dont think im better then them just b/c im christian and thats how i think more christians should be. imo

And then when he's talking about Jesus being a friend and not a judge, etc. I totally agree with him. And that is why I LOVE this song. I may not be a perfect on but I am a christian. And besides there's no such thing as a "perfect christian." We all sin. And I love Jesus and God but I can worship, etc without the whole church thing. Just my opinions about religion and this song. <3

I love God with all my heart. I believe in him. I believe that Jesus was an awesome man. I pray all the time. I'm thankful for his blessing and the problems and troubles that he gave me made me a whole lot of a better person. But I don't go to church and sing songs and shit. I don't believe everything in the Bible and I don't think being gay and masturbating will send me to hell

@Cdlover4597 um he's not talking about religion making the world a worse place. he's talking about how when his family was kicked out of a church because they were taking in homeless people for a bible study and dinner and the night they did it inconflicted with their church's program so they were asked to stop their service and when they didnt they were kicked out.

omfg. i wish you went to my school.

im athiest / buddhist (I believe in many of his teachings but I don't "worship" him or anything.)

At school though, man, they're are so many christians that just..when they found out I didn't believe in their god, they just treated me different and some of them wouldn't even continue to be my friends. So yeah, thanks. ^.^

There is this bumper sticker that says "I've got nothing against God. It's his Fan Club I can't stand" and that is exactly how i feel. I was raised a christian, and my family gave so much to our church. But the pastor and his family ended up embezzling a lot of money from the church. I still have some faith in God, but his "followers" i cant trust.

religion isn't what causes problems. people's egos are what is wrong with religion, christianity in particular. not all christians are bad, not all atheists, agnostics, muslims, or any other religious sect is bad. people take things too far, and do things in a higher power's name to justify their wrong doings. that's just my personal opinion though.
