Connor and Duncan cranked up the old phonograph and played an old 78rpm of Peter and the Wolf. I added a few clips from the Disney animated short film to help tell the story.

  • Please tell us the details of this recording-who is the narrator & the musical group? I have a collection of "Peter and the Wolf" recordings, mostly Lps from the 1950s-1980s. I do have the first American version from 1939, with Richard Hale as narrator & the Boston Symphony Orchestra under Serge Koussevitsky. But this is a very cool modern version. Love that organ!

  • I hid from hungry wolf snaring are wolf's song.

  • Great video!

  • My father read this story to me often in the late 40's. We owned a 78 rpm album as well, but not the same narrator with a symphony orchestra. I still own the VICTROLA, floor model. Nice memories here.

  • awesome!

  • this was sooooo cute, it`s nice to see two young`uns interested in something that entertained their elders when they were their age.

  • It´s really nice!!

Congratulations and kisses for Connor and Duncan.

  • Priceless...!

  • The beatboxing flute was very cool!
