  • It was great to see this video- I am battling psoriatic arthritis and have been trying to get the courage to go to my local pool. It is very stressful, as a former choreographer and dancer it has been depressing to be unable to do what I love anymore. She gives me hope that I should not give up.

  • I'm so happy that you found some hope in this message. I would definitely recommend that you check out the website referred to in the video.

  • Well, you have psoriasis on the one hand and psoriasis on the other.

Personally, I wouldn't even contemplate entering chlorine water because of the chemical itself.

Even repeated tiny pressures, e.g. by clothing or shoes, deliver new lesions.

No thanks, no sporting carreer for me.

  • SHE SIGNED MY CAST!!!!

  • since she don't have any skin lesions,i'm guessing its psoriatic arthritis (inflamation of the joints). She said on Jay Leno that she's had like 10 cortisone injections on her shoulder prior to the olympics and now she's having surgery, she's probably have a badly damaged joints.

  • What she have is psoraiatic arthritis, inflammation of the joints. She said on Jay Leno that she had like 10 cortisone injection (to reduce inflammation)on her shoulder before the olympics and now she's having a shoulder surgery maybe to repair or replace her badly damaged joints. Many people with psoriatic arthritis benefit from physical and occupational therapy to strengthen muscles, protect joints from further damage, and increase flexibility = (Resistance Stretching her secret weapon).
