@shinshampoo - they were not tattoos, they are called mehndi or henna. it is plant based n can last for 2-3 weeks, if one uses only the henna leaves by grinding it into paste n leave on ur finger tips covering the nails for one hour (which can be washed away), it gives ur fingers the fresh leafy smell for few days n ur fingers n finger nails look orangy in colour n beautiful. but if u buy the commercial mehndi tubes, they are dark in colour n will started to peel within a week.
