Donkey Project, Empowering women in Malawi, Matunkha Centre (cart training 3)

This donkey is pulling a cart for the first time in his life. Pachoro left november 2008 to live with one other donkey in a village in Malawi. The Matunkha centre had a project for 30 women in which each group of 5 were allocated 2 donkeys to empower women and help them with their daily tasks. Some of the donkeys were rescued from horrible situations near Lilongwe, and all for part of the first donkeys ever to live in this area! www.matunkha.nl
