i wish in the future we could make movies like avatar in real time cuz our graphics card JUST CAN DO THAT

90% Hardware is same on pro and gaming card(GPU,circuits). But coded(drivers) in a different way. Just expanding range of products.. Thats the truth.!!

@pestana01 It's responsible for bottle-necking, yes. Genius.

@wootness3000 great point man, .... of course the CPU is responsible for 3D Viewport rendering ! ... everybody knows that
-
@unstable112 I dont disagree with you at all. It is quite out of proportion since one card is rubbish and the other is (was) pretty good and both are aimed at different markets. But sometimes people do like to see what the real differences are, even though its obvious, its good to see. :)

The 7300GT isnt even a gaming card. its just for simple browsing and watching some movies (not full hd because it cant handle that)
So the comparisson is really out of proportions.

I kinda agree, Quadro FX supports hardware openGL, and the 7300GT is a gaming card which doesn't. Which means that any 3D CAD or other 3D program that is running on a pc that doesn't have a 3d graphics card with OpenGL support, forces it's OpenGL to be run through software. And that's why everything slows down heavily ...

The author of this video is illustrating the quality of viewport rendering which in 3d apps is predominantly down to the gpu. I honestly believe that if you where familiar with 3d apps and workstation graphics cards you would appreciate the comparison

One has a Pentium 4 @ 3GHz and the other has a Xeon at who knows what! Of course the 4400 is going to look better!
