@sabmah Kathmandu, Nepal is a place with very poor conditions, but with very kind, generous, friendly people. The song reflects that concept, saying that everything is much more different than the people who take part in it. Or at least something like that.

@shakydeep I saw a theory that suggested that he's not talking about a lover, but of a place and it's people. Kathmandu, Nepal is a place where some people barely have anything but you see them for who they are. The theory also suggests the song relates to buddhism beliefs as well (compassion, love, attachment). Thinking about the song this way makes the song ever more powerful and metaphorical, adding to it's amazing sound. 35 people should listen to more than the words.
