Been reading lots of problems with these things. Understandable at such extreme rpms. Plus, all in one cheap 3 axis gyro & servo board. I can't see this being reliable beyond 300 flights. Bushing wear, pressed parts wear, vibration...etc. It's been about half year since your original review, do you still feel good about this product?

Thanks. Was about to take servos apart an clean them. This solved my vibration issue while I was still on the ground. But believe it or not, the rubber band fix helped my air vibration

Here is the fundamental cause of mCP X vibration and a 100% fix:

hi there nice video hey where ther e a web site with build inf on helis ? thamk you

@robbie2737 i don't think your gear slid down the shaft. if it changes the pitch of the blades when you try to move it then it's not sliding.

@iseldoff Jumping straight to a CP heli from a 107G isn't recommended; a mCX2 would be the next step (four-channel coaxial, stepping up from a 3-channel like the Syma), then to an mSR (fixed pitch single rotor)... though you can skip the mSR if you buy a DX6i and set up the mCP-X to run in 'fixed-pitch mode'.
It's a LARGE skill jump; and to start you're going to have to un-learn the muscle memory you developed with the Syma; proper Mode 2 have rudder control on the left stick with the throttle.

I've been using a s107g do you think this is a good transition to a collective pitch heli?

@Feckerhead much smarter to use the tool as described here...with the tool you're hitting the gear dead center at the strong part of the plastic gear...I've done it your way, much to risky with the bending the thin plastic.
Great info, question: If that center white gear drops as you described...It seems as though that would change the pitch.......Is it possible that could be the reason my mcpx won't get off the ground? No lift at all because of the change in pitch with the blades dropping down? Thanks Rob-

@robbie2737 when the gear drops it won't fly because the the main gear is not in line with the motor pinion gear
