  • Stock... it was nitro and came with disk brakes when i used reverse throttle. I dont want electric brakes, or reverse. I just want brushless to make her go---. and the stock disk brakes to stop.?

Dear Sir, I need to understand in details what you are going to do with brushless, There are many questions, sorry. For such tech solution advice I need to see all mech. drawings, shaft load etc

I don’t think that brushless motors are able to become mech.brake motors as far as they have reverse communication with ESC and very sharp timing issue to signal about it’s turning sequence.

  • If something will not go in normal way ESC cutting the 3 phase signal sequence and stopping motor not in the good position for ESC. ESC and Motor will become very hot if such auto cut will happen.

  • Is it posible or bad to connect my esc and a servo to the throttle channel at the same time?? Reason being- I want to convert an old nitro truck to brushless but still use the mechanical brakes?

  • @poitka80 from the same any channel of any Rx can be conneted 2 servos, no matter it is servo+ESC or servo +servo or ESC+ESC but, I did not understand what is the mechanical brakes?

  • What MOSFETs is there on that ESC, with thte cover off you must be able to see them clearly......

  • @pat60606 , I am sorry but heatseank already on it and I am not able to see P/N

  • @poitka80 Haha. sorry im horible on detail. I origionaly wanted to know if a servo could be pluged into the same channel as the esc. I want the servo to power the mechanical disc brake. My theory here is because the servo will use less energy to stop the truck than if I used the brakes that the esc has. Also im gona disable brakes and reverse on the esc. All this to save some batery i guess

  • @angrygunsmith -yes, 100% delivery on 5 years

  • Yes, they are cheat and have good quality. Why shall I buy expencive 1 motor insted of almost same quality 3-4 ones?:)
