The gasoline powered enigne bus I rode was replaced a week before I moved with another gasoline powered one.

I like diesel buses better, the gasoline bus I rode squealed like crazy. I ride a CE200 now, though I'd really like to ride a CE300

The second bus in the video. I see the number 467 and the unit number itself is 146. So is 467 a schedule number on that run or is 146 a spare for 467 while 467 is out of service. I know when I was in school some times we either had a spare or a substitute driver who had their own bus the regular bus number showed in the window. But with spares the driver was watching the bus.

467 is the route number, while 146 is the vehicle number. So bus 146 on rte 467 ;)

I rode a bus like the one at 0:00-0:14 for half a year. Most of the buses that area were gasoline powered, except for the spare buses and few of the newer ones.

I think gasoline/propane sounds much cooler than diesel, especially when paired with a standard tranny :D

@ELOfanatic In Canada all buses like that all run on Propane from 1980 all the way up to 2003 Chevys/GMC's Also most of the internationals from 80 up to 89 ran on propane as well Very Rare you would see a Deisel 80's International school bus up here not as popular as the USA. Propane is good except when your going up a hill then they suck.

While that is true to a certain extent, propane began to fall out of favour around the late 1990s, despite the fact that Bluebird/GMC offered it right up until 2003 ;)
