Myanmar's military government announced the increase Tuesday morning ... its up from an earlier total of 77 thousand. And that latest number doesn't include the nearly 54 thousand people who remain missing. It was more than a month ago when Cyclone Nargis slammed into the Myanmar coast -- bringing with it death and destruction. A major international relief effort then got underway ... An effort that was at first hampered by Myanmar's reluctance to accept international aid. International relief groups contend even more needs to be done ... To make sure the more than two million survivors continue to have clean drinking water to stave off disease. One Hollywood jackass celebrity recently "reasoned" that the Chinese were afflicted with that huge earthquake as punishment for their abuse of Tibet. By that logic, I wonder what horrible things Burma must've done to earn a disaster like this and why the government's top brass, which is usually behind all the mistreatment and such, seldom gets affected by these catastrophes.
