Took a hike all by my lonesome in Bucks Pocket State park in Alabama. Looking for a place to fish but the fish were too cold to bite.

  • would you recommend bucks pocket? because im trying to decide where to camp and its between buck's pocket and Rock island tennessee.

  • Bucks Pocket is a great place to relax in a quiet area with plenty of trails to explore and the camp is right next to South Sauty stream. Water flow is best in the pre spring months and practically dries up in the summer. The good thing is that Guntersville lake is right down the road. There is a high point of the canyon that you can get spectacular views from.

  • I sure do. Me and the kids have great adventures in this area. Love to kayak and canoe fish in Guntersville lake also. Thanks for the comment!

  • we party here lol

  • Great scenery, I camped there a few summers ago -that was one noisy night with those bugs! It was a great night out -the ground covered in glow worms ..campfire, a few beers and the state park warden's dogs kept us company...aaah doncha just love the great outdoors!
