I had a double lung tx at 16 and am 22 now. Have had mild rejection twice and other than that, life is brilliant and I am going so well. Might sound silly, but it's ncie seeing other people's journey.

Sounds like me too. Double lung transplant 12-21-2007. Did not think I would make it. Got sick immediately after transplant. No rejection so far though. Thankful to be alive.

i had a double lung transplant when i was 18 i am now 21....i also had to go back on life support for two weeks because i had sudden acute rejection 3 days after the operation.....it took me 12 weeks to get out of hospital aswell.....are u still doing ok? where abouts was this done u sound australian?
