  • My nephew was born on this very night during the game

  • second night game at ohio stadium

  • This matchup would've made a good Rose Bowl game as well

  • A Clash of Pac 10 & Big 10 Titans

  • I just remember thinking this entire game that OSU could have scored a LOT more points. It wasn't as close as the score indicated.

Of course, OSU gave up another end-of-half score in a big game.

  • I recall a Husky saying, after these home and home games.

That that it is the hardest hitting game that he had ever played in. And I live in Washington

  • Of course the next year OSU went to seattle and lost by the exact same margin, 16-25. And then 2 weeks after that, the huskies went into Miami and ended their 40+ home winning streak in the orange bowl in resounding fashion, 38-20.

Eventual national champ nebraska would go in there and beat the canes in the Orange bowl, 24-17 a few months later.

  • This seemed like a huge game at the time what with UW being 3-time defending pac10 champs. But this was their first year without legendary coach Don James and they ended up finishing 7-4 with 15 point losses at ASU and UCLA and a 5 point loss at home to USC.

  • Go Buckeyes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks for uploading these man! Brings back memories of sitting at my parents house in Cincinnati and waiting to go back to school in Columbus. I know Coop had his issues (2-10-1) but this game showed that Coop has recruited some serious talent.
