It has nothing to do with RNA,
Actin filaments are a part of the Cytoskeleton of the cell, they play roles in supporting the cell mechanicaly and other more stuff.

If anyone wants the actual animation (with narration) that this was presumably taken from, Google "actin polymerisation animation" and it's the third one down (at time of writing) on whfreeman.
