How to convert videos to edit in Windows Movie Maker//Video Converter

The reason Windows Movie Maker cant detect your videos in your video camera is because it is a video format or a video type that Windows Movie Maker does not support.

Windows Movie Maker supports ASF AVI and WMV

This video converter will convert your video into AVI http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/products/dvd/Free-3GP-Video-Converter.htm Its free

Once you have your video converter plug your camera in and click "browse" and find your video you want to convert and edit it.

Then click convert.

Once it is converted go to Windows Movie Maker and click "Import Video"

Then go to the document "DVDVideoSoft" and find your video.

Import it.

And now you can edit it!

Okay, so I downloaded the latest version of everything, and every time I try to use the program, it says "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation". What is going on?
