The actress that plays the "older jane" I've seen her not look so plain, I've seen her look very fashion foward & attractive in "real life" I know her character based on the book, is supposed to unfornately, be very plain looking! She is also a "brilliant actress" I think :) I also love Janes dress too!

mr.mason was a handsome,tall and young man..not this old,fat,and bearded fellow...blanche ingram was supposed to be dark as a spaniard..and both in 2006 and this version she was a BLONDE!!! why the hell they dont stick to the facts??? what if they make blanche a brunette?? im sure they could have foundnd many actresses who could have made good and authentic blanche...

Mrs Reed is impossible. Jane never caused her any trouble. She was only in her life for ten years and even then she was ignored from the presence of Reed. Even after five or so years of Jane's absence she still treated her horribly. What a bitch! Honestly if I were Jane I would have ranted about this to her for hours.

I'm mad that they took out some good parts like the gypsy and the confrontation between Rochester and Jane after Mason leaves. wish i could see a movie that was at least accurate to the book
