I have to disagree with AMH on who Stilson parallels. Frankly, from the first episode ("Are you against big government?" "I'm against *bad* government."), Stilson seems more like an odd cross between Ross Perot (populist kinda-sorta-conservative) and Barack Obama, 2008 ("It's not about big government or small government--it's about smart government!").
Frankly...the mysterious organization behind Stilson is "Coalition For A Better America." Hmm..."Center For American Progress", anyone?
