@robertslistening I agree, I think Vivien looks better when she's not smiling. The same goes for Hedy. When Hedy smiled or laughed her whole look changed and she looked like a completely different person. But hey, they are both extremely gorgeous women. If God wants to grant me anything in my next life, He can make me look like either one of these women.

Vivien Leigh was a goddess. Great actress, and drop-dead gorgeous to the day she left this earth. The only other star whose beauty matched Vivien's was the Elizabeth Taylor of the years 1950-1960.

@robertslistening I'd take Vivien over Hedy in terms of natural beauty and as an actress but that's just my opinion and it's true, they were like long lost twins. Jean Simmons was a little like her as well. However I think that Vivien was gorgeous when she was smiling also!
What's My Line absolutely is just addictive and fabulous to watch.

apart from being very beautiful there was something special about vivien that set her apart from other actresses. maybe it was the many faces that she could portray so convincingly. to me she was the ultimate actress.
