@ChefDeenoh, too silly. This music is easily forgettable except maybe with blues heads folk. Guinness is way better.

Smoking hot guitar.

Rory's Strat still had some finish on it at this point! Rory is one of the top influences on my playing since the 70's. God bless you Rory. We miss you.

Ireland's best export, better than Guinness

Agreed. I have a '65 and have thrashed that puppy like a red-headed step-child and it still honks!

@stuka52 I mean Wilger. He died in 1987

i've always been amazed that Rory's Strat held up as well as it did for all of those years. He really manhandled that axe, squeezing out notes like machine gun fire and at times, tossing it about like a rag doll. It's a testament to how well Fender guitars were made back in the old days.

Thanks. I figured as much and appreciate the information.
Is it possible to be any cooler than this? Todays music (the real stuff - not some producers idea of what we want to hear) doesn't suck but back then I could hear so many different types of things. I was in the 8th grade in 1973 and I could watch In Concert or Don Kirschners Rock Concert with Rory Gallagher, Montrose, Grand Funk, Humble Pie, King Crimson etc...... We had variety. I really feel sorry for a lot of young people who are feed Disney manufactured BS. They really don't know music.
