In this video we show you how to remove the white (or it can be any other colour) background in an image.
Many people like to be able to use images that they find on the internet (with permission, of course). Very often these images are in the jpeg format which means that they lie on a white background. When you place these images on a different coloured background, they look...well, rubbish. The trick is knowing how to remove this background.
In this video, Davina shows you how to do this using Gimp.
You don't need to have any previous knowledge in using this free software, as she just shows you what you need to know to get the job done.
Also, she shows an invaluable trick to ENSURE that there are no white bits left behind :) Watch out for this tip on the video.
