@AceofGallifrey As such, we could finally see McGann-Eccleston regeneration. I'll be honest, I hope they stop using the "explosive" regeneration (arms out, legs akimbo, gold energy from hands and head). It's been used a lot, and has been used well, so I think it's time they shelfed it, and use a different regeneration for McGann, and a different one again for Smith when he bows out. I'd like to see Smith's as a more gentle regeneration, as if saying goodbye to an old friend for the last time.

@georgercop Actually, most of the things Eccleston is rumored to have said about his disinclination to return were actually said by RTD. I think Eccleston is just sort of indifferent, but with proper inducement he could probably be convinced to return and considering a 50th anniversary episode is almost guaranteed to involve the Time War, it seems probable that Eccleston's Doctor would be necessary to make the story work... even if it's just as a cameo at the end or something.

@AceofGallifrey Indeed, though I've heard Eccleston isn't keen on returning, which is a shame. He was a good Doctor. Could be immensely serious and menacing, but has a funny and light-hearted side as well. The story of the 50th anniversary episode needs to be a good one, too. A well thought out script, and an appealing and intriguing storyline, and more of a movie than a serial (much like the Five Doctors).

@georgercop Indeed! The only thing more fantastic than having McCoy and McGann back for an episode (or two... I'm not picky) would be to have Pertwee back one last time. But seeing as that's literally impossible at this point (without a TARDIS, anyway), I'm delighted by the prospect of a multi-Doctor crossover with as many of the still-living Doctors as we can manage!
-
@AceofGallifrey I would love McCoy to return as well. He is one of my favourite Doctors, up there with Smith, Tennant and Davison. I also think if anyone could help clear up the Doctor's age debate, it would be McCoy's Doctor (being 957 when he regenerated from Baker).
-
@georgercop It's under consideration, from what I've heard. Of course, it's still some time off so things are liable to change, but I'm desperately hoping for a major Doctors reunion (McCoy has also talked about coming back, which could be plausible... and if he does, Sophie Aldred ABSOLUTELY has to make a return), it would be quite brilliant.

@AceofGallifrey I hope they bring him back in for a multi-doctor episode for the 50th anniversary! He said he'd love to go back to Doctor Who, but he's never actually been asked =<

I've seen this movie, and I can say that it's the only good scene, as well as the only in-character moment for the 8th doctor. Also, I'm going on record and stating that the 8th doctor is my favorite. LISTEN TO THE AUDIODRAMAS MADE BY BIG FINISH

Lol this makes 8 look uber-gay, nice choice of scenes.
