@metaempiricist it sounds slightly different. you don't need to insult me because i have a differing opinion. i just feel like if you're going to cover a song you need to bring something completely different to the table rather than a modernisation.

@BLAHFRIDGE wow you really don't have an ear for music do you? this sounds completly different

It sounds cleaner than the Banshee's original, of course (the reversed samples were tape loops of real instruments back in '87). But it also seems pretty much devoid of feeling... I wonder if she actually gets what the song is about (it is decidedly dark).

i don't understand what the point of this cover was? it sounds exactly the same.

Brilliant cover, but the original is pretty untouchable.
This has a really smooth catchy sound, but kinda lacks the odd quirkiness and mystery of the original. Also, props to Siouxsie for the unbelievable creativity of the original. A sound like that was pretty advanced for its time.

It's like Will Young ripping off Jose Feliciano's cover of Light My Fire, just no need for it.

LOVE this song! Just curious, where did you find it? It's not on her page or iTunes and I've been desperately trying to find it without having to download harmful programs to my laptop. If you can help in any way, it would be very much appreciated!

@ts2526 yes but most covers don't

the original/django version is good as well but i don;t like how they don;t acknowledge it as a cover or adaptation
