boy, do i love my metromanome

Not a bad comparison, however, he does NOT mention that the intelli does not do well on lower notes without the use of 12th fret harmonics. I tune down to C, and even D is pretty well useless with the intelli. I have both and I prefer the Snark by a HUGE margin. Although the Snark is not quite as bright as the intelli, outdoors, clip it UNDER the headstock, something I used to do with my older tuners that did not have bright displays. I just gave my intelli away. YMMV

LOL..So why on earth would you need it?

The Intelli might be great for a uke, but I play bass, and the Intelli had a real hard time picking up string vibrations, especially the E string. The Snark, however, picks up bass string vibrations (as well as any other string instrument) without any problems whatsoever. I gave my Intelli to my son so he can tune his acoustic. Myself, I'll stick with the Snark!

I also have the Intelli tuner. It doesn't pick up vibrations from the lower strings that well.

@FFXGuitar ha i knew someone would say something...as soon as he said it i went to the comments to look...didn't take long

I as well have had the same Intelli tuner for several years. The battery is almost dead now, but I'm going to buy the snark instead of replacing it.

Damn, dude! That sucks ass! I swear, if that were to happen to one of my Gibsons, someone's is gonna get shot.

Na... the Snark is way cooler!

@yoheff988 No, the metronome makes no sound, you only see the heart beat.
