  • Most commonly used pipe for Geothermal installations is 3/4 " Polyethylene Pipe. Drilled holes are usually sealed with earth soil dug out from the wells or similar type of soil. But you can seal it with soil they sell at Home Depot for tree planting if you wanted to. Happy Geothermal System Installations!!!

  • Ditto. What did they use to loop the pipes in the borehole? And are you using tremie pipe for the grout? I'm also looking into installing a geothermal system at my own home. Any information would be appreciated. GREAT JOB!

  • How did they use the drilling rig to install the geothermal pipe? What lkind of grout was used to seal the hole and to ensure heat transfer?
