The three-part Audio Mastering with PC Workstations is the most complete work on mastering and digital audio basics to date. Because knowledge about digital techniques and skilled handling of digital audio data is a prerequisite for professional mastering, subjects from PCM to jitter to dithering are treated extensively.

The series is made for future mastering engineers as well as for every audio engineer, producer, media technician, and ambitious home studio enthusiast who is involved with digital audio on a daily basis and wishes to attain the best results possible.

Chapter 1 covers technical basics. Chapter 2 contains a step-by-step description of the ideal workflow using WaveLab 6 as an example. Using practical examples, chapter 3 offers a deeper exploration of mastering techniques. The best native and DSP-supported plug-ins such as Powercore and UAD-1 are discussed.
