hi, i have installed xampp..... its mysql is running but apachi doesn't ...... will some one help me to figure it out that what may be the problem ..... plz reply to me.. if you know..

I am a Wamp user which has a localhost page that allows me to pick whatever directory in htdocs I want to open. Does Xampp have that or do you have to type in each and every directory name in the URL bar to open them?

It didnt work work for me. I follow everything if im not mistaken. I had xamp installed. Apache installed. Even MySQL installed. And when i type localhost/example/test.php in Chrome. All it say is Oops! Google Chrome could not find localhost. Not sure where it went wrong. I have school distributed computer if that help
