The sound...the fury...the 30-car rampage. Who knew a pair of K-Line Plymouths could be responsible for this kind of cacophony? Now you do.
No--it's not a single "train set" you can buy in any one shop or website all at once--it's actually five separate sets hooked together . And since it was all made by K-Line, you'll spend a lot of time looking high and low through various train shows and online retailers to assemble one like this--even when K-Line was still in business. As it is, one of these switchers will pull the train (the cars roll VERY freely) but it was felt prudent to use two.
Appearing soon on the NJ Hirailers layout. (yes, it did climb the helix without stalling )

--edited on Ulead VideoStudio 11 (after rummaging through the Web for a direct link to the 11.5 update file that keeps it from crashing upon playing H.264 files--that Ulead & Corel thoughtfully de-linked from their respective support pages thankyouverymuch) and still having the wrong aspect ratio after too many hours rendering.
(if I figure out how to re-render this so it actually comes out as a 16:9 clip I'll nuke this one and re-upload--squashed video bugs me to no end)
Very nice set! I like the sound that freight makes as it goes down the track!

Great video. Used my earplugs to deaden the noise! Really like your layout. I'm a new subscriber, so will watch your earlier videos as well. Cheers.
