hmm in the epilogue the time was in our current age so Gabriel was sitting alone and there is no sign means that he was Dracula from the Others CV Because the Original Dracula Resurrected every century and Gabriel seems to be alone all those years harming no one else...and Zobek make a deal with him to defeat Satan. if Gabriel agreed then he Was a good person after all. I don't believe that Gabriel will Love Lisa instead of his original wife Marie. Gabriel is a Dark Hero.

Gaberial never fathered any sons, When he says that he is Dracul the writers could mean that he is simply the Dragon. there are no sons of his, and as to agreeing with Zobek i doubt he would do so willingly. The forgotten ones powers drove him insane when he took it

I think he means to fight Satan on his own, Without the help of Zobek who will inevitably help anyways..Losing Marie must have killed what little was left of Gabriel, taking him from the brink into the very depths of insanity itself.

Historically speaking dracul means "dragon' while dracula means son of the dragon. But this is a game, and in the game itself it states Dracula. May be a case of the writers mixing the two for dramatic effect. Bare in mind not many people/gamers care what the actual meanings between the two words are.

I think the developers are gonna borrow the soma cruz timeline only maintain dracula as himself as indicated in the ending with zobek.

@agleflergan Dracul is in fact Dracula's (the real, Vlad Tepes) father name.

So, Gabriel would have become Dracul (the "Dragon" or "the Devil") not Dracula (The little dragon").....perhaps.

Let's wait for what gonna show LOS 2.

I feel LOS 2 will deal with "prequel", "time loop" and "restoring the original timeline"

@agleflergan actually, dracul just means dragon, dracula means son of the dracul, so for all we know, gabriel may have a son who is called dracula because he is the son of dracul
