@jcaled24 Really? Where did you get that info? JDPower has LR as most improved brand for 2011... doubtless due to the outstanding reliability of the Freelander 2.

The Freelander 2 is built on a Volvo platform and uses the Volvo 3.2 inline six ansd six speed automatic transmission. The original Freelander was very poorly made and horrible in crash tests. I will take neither thank you.

I agree, it certainly looks like a Ford, or at least, Ford influence in styling. Thanks god the technic is not. Otherwise, who knows at first moment, that the diesel engine is from Peugeot/Citroen? Today it is all so global, it's a shame.
