70 years later, is the first time I hear this version of this amazing song. I'm seventeen and I can't stop listening to it and thinking that this song is love itself, in it's whole expresion. I think this song (and this version in particular) is wonderful.
Regards from Chile.

Helen was a dear friend of mine, a fantastic singer and a fabulous lady. This has always been one of my favorites by Helen.

@ElCid48 Thank you for your kind wishes. I wish you the same. It's good to encounter like minded people on this forum. Class will out,and Ms. Forrest had an abundance of that.
As did Ricky Nelson. I haven't listened to him for some time,so today will be a good day to revisit him. Enjoyed him in Rio Bravo, stood his ground with some real heavyweights in that one.Wayne,Martin, and the wonderful Walter Brennan.
Best to you and your family.

Just like poor Ricky Nelson sings in the "Garden Party": So you can't please anyone so you gotta please yourself.
Have a nice Christmas, friend!

@ElCid48 There really is no pleasing some people.

Amongst the very greatest of records ever made. Ms Forrest's voice melts my heart.

I love singing this to my little unborn baby who's due to be born at the very beginning of Spring :) <3

3 dislikes are trolls who have nothing else to do with their pathetic lives.

I use a lucky strike cigarette when listening to this fine tune!

I could listen all day, and often do.

Yeah----eight wives . . . and still lived to be 96 y. o. ! !
Yes, this recording has to be one of the very, very best.

A lot of interesting trivia below...and here is one more bit. Artie Shaw was married 8 times...and one of his earlier wives was Betty Kern, the daughter of the composer of this song, Jerome Kern.
