Has anyone else noticed that the displays on the new NYC subways seem to use Apple's Keynote presentation software? If you've ever used Keynote, pay attention to the transitions and you'll recognize all your favorites - Cube, Dissolve, Pop - they're all there! Does anyone know if they actually have a little Mac running the show inside every subway, or if it's just a video file looping?

Yes agreed, it's a looping movie with different "chapters" for different times of day. Mac Mini $500? No way they have a Mac per sub. system. Probably gotta dvd player.

Since you can export any keynote as a movie, and the cost for a mac inside of every subway would be astronomical, I am going to guess that it is a looping movie.
Still pretty cool.
