@pajala73 SO right you are; had Mercury had the courage to release this as the 3rd single after "Ritual" (which tore through parts of American radio in '88, I remember well - but had more play on MTV and, unfortunately, DRN will always be best known for being the band which brought D'Arcy into Smashing Pumpkins) it just might've gone Top 10 or 20 - despite its commercial sheen, easily one of the most raw, gut-wrenchingly tragic songs ever recorded.....
