Arctine running Windows 95 on the Nokia n900

Just a quick video showing Windows 95 being booted on the Nokia n900 via Dosbox. Quality of the video is poor, i do apologise.

It's very quick/functional once the dosbox.conf settings have been optimized. The only problem i have left to solve is when running a program in Dosbox the mouse is out of sync with the touch screen. The only way i have round this at the moment is using vnc and controlling the device remotely. I may upload another video later on or tomorrow demonstrating the usability.

Pretty sure Nokia made this phone just to show the world the potential a non constricted and uncontrolled OS.

try windows 2000 or XP if u can do it

there is small size WIN XP i think 90mb try to use it

Windows 95 was basically DOS with window manager, while XP (and above) are NT platform..

or how you start in dosbox with c: and not start with z:

I prefer Linux (Always), but it's a very interesting OS tested on N900... try to run a W-XP, this device has 256MB of RAM, I am almost sure you can do it... :)
