some shepherds have trouble putting on weight because of a enyzmine in there stomach acid. they could puke for no apparent reason, this would mean your shepherd has the enyzmine. mine does, but i add pumpkin to his food to help the runny stool, and his food is dry and wet mixed together. so sorry for your lost, i will be doing a tribute for my blade when he passes to god. it will b one of the hardest things i'll do.

Hello Shawn, beautiful & moving tribute.
Pictures & music & all that love & loss coming through. got a 14 yr old mutt whos fading Honey our companion & friend. Keep the music coming. Saw Jackson B.2 weeks back in Sheffield UK what a gig it was perfect. Like your version of B& Black. What an incredible song it is. Peter, Derbyshire UK

Thanks for posting your own tribute as a comment. A nice vid.
When I lost Puppy, I was in bad way. Making my video tribute certainly helped. If mine helped you or anybody else with the loss of their GSD - then so much the better.
It's so difficult to explain this sadness to people, and that you have lost a companion and loyal friend that would lay down their life for you. The warmth of feeling from those on Utube never cease to amaze me. Take care my freind, and we all are sorry for your loss

Beautiful girl your Bonnie, 15 years is a decent life for a GSD... one can only hope that we could have at least 25! It shows how well she was loved and cared for and how healthy she was I loved the shadow shot, one of my favs to do, I'll have to do that with my shepherds! I think all Shepherds love the snow. The classic leg crossing, Dakhota loves to do that! Beautiful memory, beautiful tribute! Blessings ENTICIA of d n' e!

Nice tribute to your dog....
Likewise, I lost my companion, Yoko von Shepherd, a german shepherd dog, to pancreatic cancer on April 20th, 2008. She was 11. Man and his dog....nobody can describe the experience unless you actually lived through it !

I also lost my German Shepherd this February. She was nine years old, she died of cancer. Love the song by the way
Thanks for your comments. Sorry to hear about Blackie. Bonnie was a long haired shepherd and so did look quite big. She was never fat in fact underneath her very thick coat she was actually underweight, she never put on weight easily and was never greedy. When she would swim and was soaked through her true shape could be seen!
