Iraq is the perfect position for U.S. control of the Mid-East. Iran, the only threat in that region, will be covered by the American army, Israel will be protected, oil will be secured.
Afganistan is the perfect position for U.S. to counter any agression from Pakistan, the worlds only Muslim Nuclear power.
The pieces are in place, and are ready to attack, kill, conquer while the world and it's anti-war ideals sit back and watch and not act, because of fear.

We have to advance the global empire and that means that we will do whatever it takes. One Sadam down because he refused to listen. Now we have to make another that will be america's bitch. That's our gov at work.
the average CNN and Fox viewer prolly could not grasp the nuances of this story (ie, the tribal conflicts and reverse power play between the Shia and Sunni), which is why we don't get this kind of mature, in-depth coverage on major networks. tragic, really.

People and power indeed. A refreshing look at the immense complexity on the ground in Iraq today. There are no easy descriptions of this moment and I appreciate the opportunity to explore these issues armed with more information than is usually available to me via mainstream news outlets in America. To the filmmakers- thank you for taking the risks to bring me voices of I generally have no real access to.
