  • I think she's the luckiest of all his wives.

  • Poor Anne, I feel very sorry for her! It's so unfair how Henry treated her just because she wasn't beautiful, but I also admire her because of her strength and because she has been able not to be killed by Henry

  • The actress is actually quite lovely. But I agree. Out of all his wives she was the one that made it out of the marriage richer and wiser. And, truth be told, in RL she and Henry eventually became very good friends.

  • Anne of Cleves outlived all of Henry's wives and got to keep good relations with all of Henry's children and Henry. I always thought she was pretty cool.

  • she was beautiful just could not speak english ever heard of the language barrier?

  • Anne was never free to marry who she chose the parliment declared the marriage null and void under the grounds that she had previously been betrothed to a duke in Germany. It was later seen that she would have made a perfect wive but henry being the complete dumbass he is decided to marry a teenager so he could show her off. Anne of Cleves would have had a bunch of children with him if he kept the marriage and secured the succession avoiding years of war and fighting.

  • @12Weirdogirl Her miscarriages and having Elizabeth was what really doomed her to her fate (just like how Henry VIII used the religion excuses with marrying his late brother's widow Katherine of Aragon, he did the same with painting Anne Boleyn as a witch that seduced him) since Henry VIII wanted a son.

  • @MusicLover2602 I stand corrected. :)

  • @MultiMissLucy It's funny how (historically) most of Henry VIII's wives were ladies in waiting to their predecessors before they became queens like Anne Boleyn (to Katherine of Aragon), Jane Seymour (to Anne Boleyn and Catherine Howard (to Anne of Cleves) . The only ones that weren't ladies in waiting prior to marrying the king were Anne of Cleves since (she was a German noblewoman), Katherine Parr (a widow) and Katherine of Aragon (being a Spanish Princess).

  • and tell him that im rich bitch lol

  • I think she secretly did a victory dance in her head, I sure as Hell would be glad to get rid of that fat, pompous, and tempermental sorry excuse for a King. lol. She was the luckiest of all his wives, she survived! Catherine Parr did too, but she almost lost her life, and she died in childbirth (from her marriage after the King), so yeah, Anne of Cleaves was the luckiest!

  • I Think they sould have show Catherine Howard as her maid.

Because before she was Queen she served Anne of Cleve's
