@SoEightiesItHurts Sounded like Terence Stamp intended it to sound like ASS in his delivery, Im sure theres a way of making it sound like heirs was possible but intentionally making it sound like either was a good touch!

This looks a lot like what the websites said Richard Donner had planned to start off the second movie with until the Salkinds fired him and had him replaced with Richard Lester. I never was bothered by the hydrogen bomb being what actually broke the evil Kryptonians out of the Phantom Zone. That actually made it look like time had passed since the first movie as the missle going out into space would have been the same moments Superman was flying around undoing the damage caused by the other one.
