@ninasmiles77 It's called tatting. It's a Victorian art that is having a huge resurgence recently, thanks to the internet! Just Google it or do a search for it on Etsy.com. This is needle tatting, but there is also shuttle tatting using a shuttle with the thread wrapped around a spool inside the shuttle. The results look almost exactly the same. Left handers might struggle with shuttle tatting (I did) so I recommend starting with the needle if the shuttle drives you crazy. Books don't help much
