To answer, it was in Mountain View, CA which is in the San Francisco bay area, and it was FREEZING! Not so much that morning, but the night before was absolutely frigid.

lol, it's really awesome how you guys could be there and then come here and post and be like, "that was my radio playing ____!" hilariously awesome. I'm lame for missing it, especially when I live there.
Anyway, were they signing anything in particular or just a promo thing for the album coming out?

It was to celebrate "record store day" to encourage people to actually go to record store to buy music rather than downloading it. Shocking, I know :)

wow...that's pretty long...
...if they were going to do that here in new york i'll be in like a day before the signing...like what we did on the free bon jovi concert at central park...

We did get there the day before. I got there at about 5pm the day before and I was about 50th in line. The signing was Saturday morning. The guy first in line got there Thursday afternoon.
