Our second photo collection of Abigail. This video follows her from eighteen months to three years. Abby was born with severe brain damage, cerebral palsy and epilepsy. After medical doubts that she might not make her first birthday, Abigail fought on to the age of three and a half. She died peacefully on 8th March 2007. Have a look at our other Abigail videos.

Was this all a genetic coincidence, or did one of your doctors do something violently wrong?

@DaintyDollyz Whether you'd choose to call it a "genetic coincidence" or not, it certainly wasn't a mistake by any doctors. Something - no one knows just what - caused her to suffer a severe lack of oxygen in the womb a day before birth.

Why did she die?

Abby contracted chicken pox which spread an infection to her lungs, leading to chronic lung disease. She had to be ventilated to maintain her breathing but died two weeks later.
