  • Hey do you know if they allow drumsets?

cause im lookin to buy one and i live four hours away.

Im goin to IUP in january to start college will they allow it since they allowed your guitars

  • What you probably didn't see was the headphones I used to mute the sound of my amp. Noise violations are big at IUP and a drum set would definitely not allowed, unless you have one of those electronic ones with the headsets.

  • Wow, that is like a luxury suite! Yeah, I know times change but when I went to IUP, 1985-1990, it was cinder block walls painted white with just 2 beds, 2 dressers and 2 desks. No fridge, no private bath...ahhh, the memories of putting on the flip-flops to go take a shower in the morning before classes. And the shower bucket to carry all your supplies in. Also have fond memories of sneaking the g/f into the showers on the weekend, when most people went home, for some nice shower sex. Good times!

  • affordable price

  • wow great place

  • Nice. Luxury compared to living in a 2 person room the size of my current second bedroom and a bathroom at the end of the hall shared by 20 men. That's what I lived in in the former Esch Hall at IUP 20 years ago :/

  • Hey Im going to IUP in the fall!! Is it nice?

  • is iup overall a good college? i applied recently and will hear back once i write my essay for my education major. i really want a suite when i go to college. do they allow freshmen to live in suites? do u like iup? i live 5.5 hrs away from iup (i live closer to philadelphia the other side of pa) is it worth the trip? how are the buildings?

  • This is like the most glamorous on-campus housing there is. I live in McCarthy, a traditional dorm and our room is smaller than one of those rooms hahaa. We had to bunk our beds to fit. Elkin is pretty nice though for a traditional dorm.

Just sayin', if you're a prospective student, this is one of the more expensive and glamorous housing options.
